A masterplan prepared by Arden Cross, in partnership with Solihull Council, Urban Growth Company, West Midlands Combined Authority and HS2 was unveiled on 16 July 2020 for the 140 hectare UK Central site north of Junction 6 of the M42, Solihull. Public consultation on the proposed scheme is expected in September.

It is anticipated that the site would be developed with up to 3,000 new homes and up to 6 million square feet of commercial development to provide 27,000 new jobs, together with associated open space, public realm and infrastructure.
