Birmingham City is currently undertaking a ‘Call for Sites’ to seek submission of potential development sites for assessment in a revised Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) evidence document and for possible inclusion as sites to be allocated for development in the revised Birmingham Development Plan.

This is an opportunity to submit site suggestions for development and land use for consideration through the Birmingham Development Plan update process. Sites can be for housing or employment. There appears to be no minimum site size or capacity threshold.

The deadline for submission of site suggestions is 21st January 2022.

If you would like more information, or have housing or employment sites to put forward in Birmingham, please contact us for further advice.
