We are very pleased to have negotiated planning permission and listed building consent for residential use of a range of former farm buildings in the Green Belt at Sambourne, near Stratford upon Avon, on behalf of Coltham Developments Ltd.

The site has a history of Tyler Parkes involvement, including our securing of planning permission for a new build 20-unit B1 office development in 2007. The listed buildings had previously been in use as offices and included the original mid-16th century farmhouse and a large 18th century barn. The proposal was for conversion of the buildings to 3 dwellings.

The approved scheme was designed by DFC Architecture and further supporting information was provided by Keystone Heritage and KWB.

We submitted initial proposals to Stratford on Avon District Council via a pre-application submission before making the full planning application. Our negotiations with the Council’s planning and conservation officers included justifying the loss of the employment use of the buildings and the detailing of the conversion works and repairs to the buildings.
