As the City awaits the hosting of the Commonwealth Games in the summer, in the meantime, Birmingham City Council have been busy preparing a masterplan for Perry Barr.

Birmingham City Council have adopted the ‘Perry Barr 2040: A Vision for Legacy Masterplan’ as a non-statutory policy document. It sets out a vision for the Perry Barr area which seeks to maximise the legacy of the current public sector investment and the Commonwealth Games. The vision is for it to ‘become a place where people choose to live, work and visit in ways which are healthier, better-connected and more sustainable.’

The document can be found here - 'Perry Barr 2040: A Vision for Legacy' masterplan
