Walsall Local Plan Consultation

Walsall Council is now consulting on the Walsall Local Plan (Regulation 18 – Regulation 18 Issues and Preferred Options).

The consultation marks the initial stage in the preparation of Walsall's new Local Plan setting out options for accommodating growth and development including the overall strategy for how much, where, and what type of development will take place in Walsall up to 2042 (the plan period), as well as setting out draft planning policies and site allocations to guide changes and new development proposals including housing, employment, retail and leisure.​
