Worcester City, Malvern Hills District and Wychavon District Councils are currently making a joint ‘call for sites’ which might be suitable to form part of a new Country Park.  Ideally, they would like the future park to be accessible to the public highway and on a bus route. If you have land which think might be suitable, now is the time to put it forward for assessment by the councils.  The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday 24th July 2020, after which officers will assess all sites submitted to determine the suitability of the land as a potential allocation for a Country Park in the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review.

Please be aware, any submissions made previously in response to a ‘call for sites’ for employment, housing or renewable and low carbon energy land will not automatically be considered for allocation as part of the Country Park.  Therefore, details would need to be resubmitted in response to the current ‘call for sites’

We would, of course, be happy to assist in making any submissions to the councils if needed.
