New Look for Audi Worcester

We have been successful in obtaining planning permission from Worcester City Council for our clients, The Listers Group Ltd., for a ‘re-vamp’ of the existing Audi dealership and workshop on Bromyard Road, Worcester.

Our clients own and operate this prestigious motor dealership to the south of the city centre. The premises comprise three buildings, namely separate Audi and VW showrooms which front the main road and a third building to the rear comprising workshop/MoT and a wash-bay facility, together with associated car parking and display areas.

The proposal is to enhance the appearance of the Audi showroom by installing new perforated aluminium profiled rainscreen cladding fixed to the existing cladding (east & west elevations), and to erect new fencing (2.25m high) to extend the external used car display area to the rear of the site.

Other improvements which do not require planning permission include alterations to the interior of the building, changes to external doors and windows, and re-organisation/re-marking of the layout of the existing parking/display areas, all to improve and enhance the appearance and operation of the business.

During the application process we dealt successfully with consultation queries regarding landscaping and highways and liaised with the planning officer to ensure that no planning conditions would be imposed which would prevent an early start to the works.

The planners accepted all these submissions and planning permission was granted on 23

February.
