We are thrilled to announce we have strengthened our planning team with the appointment of a new Associate Director.

John Baggott has joined us from his previous position of Development Manager at Wyre Forest District Council where he was the lead officer for new major regeneration proposals and planning applications, including significant residential, mixed-use and commercial development.

John has extensive experience in local government and private practice, previously having worked on major planning projects at South Staffordshire Council and as Land Use Planning Manager at Birmingham Airport where he secured planning permissions for new infrastructure and terminal facilities. John cut his teeth at Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council progressing to Senior Planning Officer. John has also worked as a senior planner at consultant’s Knight Frank.

At Tyler Parkes, John is taking a leading role on a wide range of development planning and policy planning work. He replaces Hugh Gore who recently retired after 13 years with the company, following his previous role as head of Development Control at Dudley Council.
