Further to our update on Solihull's Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) in June 2016, it is now anticipated that the Solihull Local Plan Review Preferred Options Document will be considered by Cabinet at its meeting on 10th November 2016. If approved by Cabinet, the document will go out to public consultation approximately two weeks later, together with supporting evidence, including the SHELAA and Green Belt Assessment.

The Preferred Options version of the Solihull Local Plan Review should include information on the Council’s favoured directions for growth, including areas where land may be required to be removed from the Green Belt and allocated for residential development.
