Solihull Consultation on Town Centre Masterplan

Solihull Council has recently launched a project seeking to ensure the vitality of the town centre for the next twenty years. The Solihull Town Centre Masterplan will provide a blueprint for future investment and development in the town centre up to the year 2036. The consultation is open until 9th September 2016.

To realise the Plan’s ambitions, seven geographic areas have been identified within the town centre. The consultation will ask people’s opinions on whether the right opportunities and constraints have been identified in these locations, and on the proposals put forward for potential change. To guide and inform the Masterplan, a public consultation will seek the views of the people who visit, work, shop and live there.

Two consultation events will be held in Solihull town centre for members of the public to learn more about the Masterplan and ask any questions they may have. For more information about the Solihull Town Centre Masterplan, visit http://www.solihull.gov.uk/masterplan or email masterplan@solihull.gov.uk.

If you have any land or premises in the town centre area this is your opportunity to influence planning polices and how the town will develop in the next few years. If you would like to discuss how we may be able to help you in making representations to the council, please do not hesitate to contact us.
