Birmingham ‘Call for Sites’ Now Open

Birmingham City Council is currently conducting a ‘Call for Sites’ to try to identify sites suitable for residential development now and in the future. An initial deadline of 31st August 2018 has been given to submit details of suitable sites for consideration in the 2018 Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) review. This is an evidence document which will help to inform the plan-making site allocation process. Despite the deadline, the Council has confirmed that sites can be submitted at any time, although those put forward after 31st August may not be included in the current SHLAA review. Coventry City Council consults on Supplementary Planning Documents

Coventry City Council is currently consulting on a number of proposed supplementary planning documents (SPD) until 21st September 2018. This follows the adoption of the City’s Local Plan in December 2017. The documents, which will provide support and additional technical details, will assist in the assessment of future planning applications and proposals.
